Neighbors and friends, come step to the fiddle,
Granny and Granddad, open the door,
Music and dance for all, big or little,
In a minute we’ll be knocking sparks off the floor.
Tap those feet while the fiddle plays,
Click those heels for the rest of your days,
Neighbors and friends, come step to the fiddle,
In a minute we’ll be going home.
Into the kitchen, aunties and cousins,
Ear to the music, heel to the floor,
Children and family and friends by the dozen,
Shanties and ballads, now sing us some more.
Tap those feet while the fiddle plays,

Neighbors and friends, come step to the fiddle,
In a minute we’ll be going home.
