Elissa was inspired by Elissa Plays the Piano, a poem by American poet David Swanger. His writing beautifully captures the wonder of watching his own daughter learning to play the piano. I imagine a creative and exploratory daydream of piano practise, flowing through different moods, colors and the joy of making one’s own music. "...the small girl who stands at a large piano...her hands causing more music than she knows..."
