TRIANGLE imitates a musical triangle with percussive tingling, accellerandos and pedal effects. Although this sounds somewhat challenging in performance, repetitive patterns and comfortable 5-finger positions make it quite accessible for quick learning and memorization. “Tri” also refers to the use of “threes” throughout, the opening tri-note motive, triplets and 6/4 and 12/8 rhythms.
